Hobie Camp

Hobie Camp is for children ages 4 to 8. Children must be 4 years of age as of July 1, 2012. The program includes arts, crafts, games, sports, drama, music, swim lessons, free swim, special guests, and theme weeks. The campers will spend their day enjoying the company of their peers while participating in specially planned age appropriate activities. Each week’s theme (such as 4th of July, Halloween, Sports, and our ever popular Talent Show) will include a special culminating event. Each camper also will receive a Hobie shirt for each session they attend.

Hobie Camp is a 6 week long program split into 3 two week sessions. Each session meets five days a week (except when noted). Camp hours are 9:00 am – 1:15 pm. Camp will begin on Monday, June 25th and will run through Friday, August 3rd. There will be no camp on Wednesday, July 4th, Thursday, July 5th or Friday, July 6th.

Seven and eight year olds, who have tried out and have been placed on the Lobster Tails Swim Team will be able to do both without missing any of the fun of Hobie Camp. Hobie Camp will take Lobster Tail members to the home Lobster Tails swim meets. Parents will be responsible for making arrangements so their child can attend any away Rock Lobster swim meets. Swim Team fees are not included in the cost of Hobie Camp.
