| Towards the end of last summer several junior sailors got
together with catamaran owners to take some catamaran rides. They found
that two hulls are definitely faster than one! Here are some photos of the
day, with thanks to Kathy Finnegan who took them:
Many thanks to John Byrne, Alan Keyworth and Chips Romans for providing the
rides, and to Tom Talbott who handled the safety boat just in case. The
wind was unfortunately too strong, and from the wrong direction, to allow Kevin
Simmons to take some kids out on PL3.
We hope to arrange a similar day this year; it was enjoyed by all who
participated.
