Roton Point has
numerous youth programs to keep children active and busy during the summer.
Junior Sailing: Runs for seven weeks from the last week in June until the first
week in August. Provides sailing instruction for beginners to the more
experienced.
Swim Team & Dive Team: Currently the team swims and dives
in division four of the Fairfield County Swim League. For the 2004 season there
will be five meets scheduled along with division and county championships.
Normally the season runs from the last week in June until the first week in
August.
Senior & Junior Water Polo: 2003 was our first year having
water polo teams. It was a learning experience, but a lot of fun for the
children. We have already made plans for
2004 season.
Youth Camp: Our camp had its best year ever this season.
Children ages 4 through 8 had a lot of fun with all of the new activities that
were added. Children were allowed to attend swim team practice, given swim
lessons and had the opportunity to play sport activities. Arts and crafts, music
and drama were also part of the daily routine. Camp runs from the last week in
June to the first week in August. Click here for

Junior Tennis & Pee Wee: Tennis instruction was offered by
our great tennis staff. Tennis Director Tom Wright limits class sizes to insure
that each child is getting individual instruction. This season we actually added
courts to try and accommodate every child. Clinics usually run from the last
week in June until mid August. There are also private and semi-private lessons
available for children.
Junior Tennis Team: Team tennis is also available. Matches
usually are scheduled for Thursday afternoons.
Youth Social: Many events are run during the summer for
children of all ages. From teen dances to family bingo. Fourth of July and Labor
Day Beach and Pool games and the Family Campout night just to name a few.
